Three online classes with Gail/USAP team are scheduled for the 5th, 12th and 19th of January (Mondays at 7pm CET). One last class will be delivered on the 23rd of February. If you miss a class, you may later watch the recording.
In January, there are weekly assigned homework tasks (each has 2 parts). Each part must be delivered within 48 hours and the whole task completed until each Sunday night.
Participants must score above 90% on all USAP online tests: Player Rules Test, Referee Test, Line Judge Test and Officiating Procedures Test.
Participants must also deliver a current visual acuity examination (available on the EPF website).
Participants will be required to submit a reflective essay describing their experience refereeing at least 6 games, whether recreational or part of a tournament (guidelines will be sent to you by email).
Part II – On-site Course in Tervuren, BELGIUM:
A maximum of 18 participants may practice their refereeing onMonday, the 16th of March. The courts will be available from 7pm to 10pm. Gail and her team will be supervising and coaching the trainees.
On Tuesday, the 17th of March, participants will take turns in refereeing games and may be asked to play. The courts will be available from 9am to 7pm. Gail and her team will be supervising and coaching the trainees.
On Wednesday, the 18th of March, the trainees will be assessed on-court. The courts will be available from 9am to 7pm. Gail and her team will observe your competencies as a referee using the USAP Tiered Referee Rating Form.

Part II – On-site Course in Ettlingen, GERMANY:
A maximum of 18 participants may practice their refereeing on Friday, the 20th of March. The courts will be available from 7pm to 10pm. Gail and her team will be supervising and coaching the trainees.
On Saturday, the 21th of March, participants will take turns in refereeing games and may be asked to play. The courts will be available from 9am to 7pm. Gail and her team will be supervising and coaching the trainees.
On Sunday, the 22th of March, the trainees will be assessed on-court. The courts will be available from 9am to 7pm. Gail and her team will observe your competencies as a referee using the USAP Tiered Referee Rating Form.
Participants who successfully complete the full Referee Course (Part I AND II) will be awarded an EPF Level 1 Referee credential (equivalent to an USAP Level 1 Referee credential), along with an official EPF REFEREE T-shirt and cap.
