The participants must download the new version of the Rulebook and learn it thoroughly.
In order to access most learning materials, such as the Officiating Handbook for example, you must become an EPF member (10€ per year).
We will create a WhatsApp group and communicate through there.
You may attend the online classes in preparation for the USAP online tests. Even if you do not attend, you must nevertheless complete the homework taskswithin a week in coordination with you to your mentor and Gail.
Make sure you score above 90% on all 4 USAP tests and send the results to maria@epfpb.orgbetween the 18th of February and the 8th of March! The tests can be repeated many times.
Have your eyes examined by a local optometrist/doctor, have them sign and stamp(!) our specific Visual Acuity Form (soon to be available via the EPF website) and send it to maria@epfpb.org.
Before the end of June, referee a minimum of 6 recreational or competitive matches and submit to your mentor one reflective essay (Guide & Example)describing your experiences.
Pay for Part II of the Course to the same account as your initial registration.
Part II – On-site Course:
Continue practicing your refereeing before coming for your on-court assessment.
Bring your paddle and plain, black clothes and shoes for the on-court practice and assessment. Scoresheets and referee equipment will be provided.
WHAT IS THE COST?
Besides the 10€ for your EPF membership, the cost for Part I of the Course is 75€.
If you pass Part I, you will be required to pay an additional 180€ for Part II of the course. This must be done latest until one week prior to your on-court assessment.
