In the future, Level 1 and Level 2 referees will officiate at a national level in their native language. If Level 2 referees are interested in officiating in other countries, they must join an EPF course to become a Certified Referee. An EPF Certified Referee must demonstrate fluency in English and be able to correctly use all official scripts in that language.
EPF and USAP will support European countries in establishing their referee programs, by offering translated copyrighted USAP referee content. The different national associations/federations will deliver a standard USAP-based program.
EPF is currently offering level 1 and level 2 courses until such countries have developed national referee programs.
Optional accreditations offered by EPF include courses for referee trainers and assessors.
