WHERE ARE THE VENUES, HOW TO GET THERE?
TERVUREN, BELGIUM:
The event will take place at the De Polygoon, in Herswegenstraat 61, in Tervuren, close to Brussels. This venue has 5 indoor pickleball courts and a cafe. Other restaurants are located about 2km away. Water and fruits will be provided by the organisation, but lunch and other meals will be at the expense of the participant.
How do I get there?
- The Brussels International Airport (BRU) is only a 20-min drive to the venue. Or you take bus 71 to Duisburg (website) and leave at the Duisburg-Herswegenstraat bus stop. The trip takes about 40 min, including a 4-min walk.
- Brussels South Charleroi Airport (CRL) is a smaller airport and about 50-min away from the venue (driving distance). Public transportation takes over 2 hours. Several low-cost agencies operate in this airport.
ETTLINGEN, GERMANY:
The event will take place at the Dorfwiesenhalle in Burbacher Strasse 7, in Schöllbronn, close to Ettlingen. This venue includes a classroom and 5 pickleball courts. The venue is a 15-minute drive from Ettlingen. We can help organise rides or car-sharing for participants who need transport. Water and fruits will be provided by the organisation, but lunch and other meals will be at the expense of the participant.
HOW DO I GET TO ETTLINGEN, GERMANY?
- Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport (FKB) is only a 30-min drive to Ettlingen. Several low-cost agencies operate in this airport. We can help organise rides or car-sharing for participants who need transport.
- Frankfurt (FRA) and Stuttgart Airports (STR) are 1 hour away by train/car. If you choose the train (website), choose Karlsruhe main station (Karlsruhe Hbf) as your destination. This train station is a 15-min drive to Ettlingen. Either take the S1 or S11 “Bahn” (metro) to Ettlingen or we try to organise rides.
